Introducing Pro windsurfer Tony Mõttus…

PWA and FPT veteran, centre manager in Vietnam and windsurfing tour guide, Tony has a wealth of knowledge to pass on to you.

Coming from a more competitive background in windsurfing, Tony can bring some unique approaches to windsurf coaching, and between the two of us we’ll be able to guarantee you’ll leave Dakhla only wishing you had time to learn more!

All the info you need is below 👇

  • The city of Dakhla is located in the Western Sahara, on the west coast of Africa. Strong winds from the North-East provide wind almost all year round.

The clinic will run from the 30th of March to the 5th of April

  • The price for the coaching is €500 for the week and the price of gear rental is €370 (with an optional gear insurance for an extra €60. Accommodation is 2002MAD (€186,40ish) per night/per room (a room sleeps 2).

I will deal with the payment for coaching, rental, accommodation and transfers in Dakhla all in one. The only part you will have to organise yourself is flights and arranging other travel requirements if it’s needed (visa etc).

  • Flights aren’t included in the package and need to be booked separately.

Flights are operating daily from Casablanca to Dakhla, which is easily accessible from most European countries. It’s also possible to fly direct from some cities in Europe such as Madrid. From most European countries it’s between 7-9 hours of travelling to get to Dakhla.

  • This camp is for anybody who isn’t a complete beginner. Minimum level would be something around learning to get planing.

Those looking to get some more advanced ways of turning (carve gybes) or some basic freestyle will get the most from this camp, as Dakhla is world class when it comes to learning freestyle - The water is not just a bit flat, its completely flat!

  • The pool includes board from Duotone, JP and sails from Duotone and Neilpryde which range in levels from beginner and intermediate, to freestyle and slalom… There truly is a board and sail for everyone. The pool system allows us to change equipment at any point, so we can make use of all the goodies the centre offers!

There are optional extras, such as S-tec freestyle equipment, and carbon booms at an extra cost.

Safety cover is available all the time and at every spot, and is included in the price of the coaching

  • It’s vitally important to remember; This is a holiday! We will be windsurfing most days, but we can also organise surf trips, and the hotel also has lots of other offerings such as yoga, kitesurfing, winging etc…

  • Check out the refund policy HERE!

  • Bring a harness and a summer wetsuit, the water and air temperature are warm, but it’s not boiling!
